A Thought on Justice

It seems that Christians often think about “justice” only in relation to the poor. Is it just to take what the rich have earned to give it to those who have less than they do? These verses need to be considered:

Exodus 23:2-3 “You shall not follow the masses in doing evil, nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after a multitude in order to pervert justice; nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his dispute.”

Leviticus 19:15 “You shall do not injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor defer to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly.”

Deuteronomy 1:17 “You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not fear man, for the judgment is God’s.”
