With William Plumer in Romans, Day 10 – Evening

Romans 1:5
NAS – …through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name’s sake…
KJV – …By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

“It is a great thing for us to get a true apprehension of grace, and to remember that every good and perfect gift comes down from God. Let us hold fast the doctrine of divine gratuity, especially in the whole matter of salvation, in the conversion of the soul, the establishment of a church, and the ordination of the ministry.” (Romans, 43)
